Gandhi Hospital discharges asymptomatic Covid-19 patients suddenly

The Telangana government has discharged 393 asymptomatic Covid-19 patients below the age of 50 years from the famous Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. These patients are healthy as per the hospital and have been sent to home quarantine. "310 of these have got a separate room for their self-isolation at home. The rest of them have been sent to a special hospital in Ameerpet," the authorities said.
This decision came after an outcry in recent days that the hospital is overcrowded. In a series of tweets, the Telangana CMO claimed that the hospital can accommodate 2150 patients, while the number of patients undergoing treatment there is just a small percentage of the capacity.
"The hospital has got 1000 beds with oxygen supply facilities. Only 247 patients are being treated at the hospital. We are yet to utilize the facilities at the hospital to the optimum," the tweets said.
This suggests that supply has far exceeded the demand.
As per anecdotal evidence given by late TV5 reporter Manoj Kumar's brother, ICU bed was not provided in time to the deceased journalist. Are official claims even credible?
