Ram Charan's Alluri from 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' is easily one of the most iconic on-screen characters ever. The majestic transformation in the second half of the SS Rajamouli-directed film has now made a reappearance in the public consciousness.
In different parts of India, especially North India, the 'Rangasthalam' actor's ethnic bow-and-arrow look from 'RRR' has been depicted by artisans ahead of the Ganapathi festival. Several pics of idols are doing rounds on the Internet, making the Mega Power Star's fans elated.
"Insane craze of Ram Charan. Demi-God For Masses is the right word for him," a die-hard fan wrote on Twitter, sharing the pics.
In the past, several popular onscreen characters have been depicted in similar ways. But none of them has got this sort of a religious touch, considering that many audiences deemed Alluri's transformation as a warrior in 'RRR' as a nod to Lord Rama's warrior avatar in the Ramayana. No wonder the Ganapathi festival has been used by creative artists to show their love for the character.
