Known for quick films in the long career as cinematographer and director JG Krishna has finished the task for talkie portions for ‘Gajendra’ in less than a month. ‘Gajendra’ starring Vinod Prabhakar, Daisy Shah and Swathi commenced shoot on July 20 and completed shoot on August 20.

It is a double edge of the hero Vinod Prabhakar that is interesting in the film says Krishna. As a slum boy running the vehicle as driver he learns the problems of his colony and in the second get up he comes up with a politician role to solve the worries of his own people. The people are shocked at this point of time when the reality of slum boy is revealed.

Krishna known for discipline in his work received hiccup when actor Vinod Raj was injured in an action scene.

‘Gajendra’ title was once made an action flick starred Ambarish in V Somashekhar direction. For producer Gowda it is a flash back with the title ‘Gajendra’. He has appeared in a small role in Ambarish film and he was also makeup man of that film.

Vinod Prabhakar was booked for this film when he was shooting for ‘Hori’. He is also working in ‘Mari Tiger’. Shobaraj is the corrupt cop in this film. Gururaj Hoskote has written an item song for this film and for the 23rd time he is playing the Muslim guy role after ‘Jogi’. Pramod Chakravarthy is in an important role. Daisy Shah of ‘Body Guard’ and ‘Bhadra’ is back as heroine in this film. Swathi plays English teacher to Vinod Prabhakar.
