The film 'Gaja' was launched on box office hero Darshan's birthday (Feb 16) at Kanteerava studios. The protagonist is Gajanana in the film. He keeps on traveling in the film rescuing Navya Nayar. He is so close to her but is afraid to express his love to her. That is why we have said Gajanana Travels. Apparently Gajanana Travels is very famous transport company in the rural side of Karnataka.

Coming to 'Gaja' this is a film tailor made for the image of Darshan. He is like an elephant (Gaja means elephant in Kannada). Not harm any one but do not leave those who disturb him. There is comedy, love action and six songs in this film said Darshan in a media briefing.

Madesh who worked as assistant director in six of Darshan films is independently as director. The shooting will be held in Switzerland, Mysore , Bagalkot and Bangalore.

Navya Nayar the Malayalam and Tamil actress is making debut in Kannada from this film. Devaraj the dynamic image holder in Kannada cinema is playing an important role.
