Simbu regularly voices his opinion on any social occorence in Tamil Nadu and he usually does so by releasing a video. As the Gaja Cyclone has caused widespread devastation in 7 districts Simbu has come out with a video in which he pitches an idea which could increase contributions to the relief works by the common people.

According to Simbu everyone now has a cellphone in his/her hands and those who want to contribute to the Gaja Cyclone relief works can do so in a manner similar to recharging their cellphones. The mass hero adds that the cellphone networks should come together to devise a system through which these donations ranging from rupees ten to rupees hundred or so can be contributed to the social causes. Well we do wish such a system comes into force as more common people can participate in helping those in crisis due to natural calamities.
