Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has on Friday fainted during an event at Rahuri in Maharashtra. It happened when he was trying to stand up for the National Anthem. Had Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao not been by his side, Gadkari would have fallen completely and hurt himself badly. Understanding his condition, the Minister was immediately given something to eat.
Reportedly, the Minister fainted due to suffocation when he had low sugar suddenly. It's learned that his sugar and blood pressure are now normal.
Giving an update about his health, Gadkari said, "Had slight medical condition due to low sugar. I have been attended by doctors and I am doing well now. I thank all of you for all the well wishes."
