Gaddalakonda Ganesh: First weekend figures revealed

'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' (previously known as 'Valmiki') has collected Rs 13 Cr (share) in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in its first weekend. Released last Friday, the gangster comedy held its ground after a remarkable Day 1.

After mopping up Rs 5.70 Cr on Day 1, it made Rs 3.51 Cr and Rs 3.70 Cr on Day 2 and Day 3, respectively. In important territories such as Uttarandhra, it has achieved break-even.

In the US, its figures stand at USD 340,000. This is decent enough.

Directed by Harish Shankar and starring Varun Tej as the hero, the film's comedy and the Mega hero's performance are working well.
