Gaddalakonda Ganesh: First week collections

'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' has posted good numbers at the box-office. Considering its potential, the gangster comedy has made it to the higher league.

The Varun Tej-starrer mopped up Rs 17.20 Cr (Share) in the Telugu States in its first week. In the rest of India, it made Rs 1.25 Cr, with a lion's share coming from Karnataka. The Overseas figure stands at Rs 1.55 Cr.

Directed by Harish Shankar, the film is already fetching profits in many areas in AP and Telangana. But for the film to give profits in all, it has to maintain stability till the release of 'Sye Raa' on October 2. In the US, the remake is a flop.

Starring also Pooja Hegde, Atharvaa Murali and Mrinalini Ravi, 'GG' was previously titled 'Valmiki'.
