Pawan Kalyan must have effectively enjoyed the Pollachi three-week schedule and happily relived the experience of shooting there for Panjaa. Gabbar Singh, directed by Harish Shankar, was shot there for nearly 20 days. The official remake of Dabanng stars Pawan and Shruthi Hassan in the lead.

The schedule began soon after Pawan was done with promoting Panjaa. Actively participating in the schedule, he reportedly showed gusto in essaying the role. The film is high on style quotient and many present on the sets, especially the director, were buoyed by Pawan's energetic presence.

Shruthi is upbeat about the role. The talented actress, who has always played the well-groomed, well-heeled urbane chic, expects to enjoy playing a rural woman in this Bandla Ganesh production.

Music-directed by Devi Sri Prasad, the summer 2012 release sees many seasoned artistes playing a host of characters in the film. Ajay is playing Pawan's brother in this action-packed film.
