Gaana Bala has produced and rendered a song for road safety and awareness released by the Chennai Police Commissioner A.K. Viswanathan. The song "Saalai vidhiya madhichi paaru..." also has music video that warns against drunken driving, safety measures and accident prevention. Speaking to newspersons at the event, Bala said that he will no longer sing film songs but will continue to use his music for such social causes without any remuneration.
