G.V. Prakash recently crossed a prestigious milestone in his music career when he signed on his 100th film 'Suriya 43' directed by Sudha Kongara. Similarly he has also reached his 25th film as a hero.

GVP has turned producer for his milestone movie starting a production house called Parallel Universe Pictures and his fist project has been titled 'Kingston'. Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan sounded the clapboard to the launche the film and the photos have gone viral.

'Kingston' is Tamil cinema's first sea based horror film and stars GVP and Divyabharathi who earlier paired up in the super hit youth romance 'Bachelor'. The film is directed by Kamal Prakash with cinematography by Gokul Benoy, editing by San Lokesh, art direction by Murthi Kalai and stunt direction by Dilip Subbarayan. It is worth noting that this film is jointly produced by GV Prakash and ZEE Studios and is being made in three languages namely Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

'Kingston' is the second collaboration between GVP and Kamal Prakash after the as yet unreleased 'Kathalikka Yarumillaiye" that has Raiza Wilson as the female lead and Guru Somasundaram as the villain.
