G.V. Prakash is one of the few music composers in the country to have made a smooth transition to acting and is juggling both careers impeccably. His slew of films as hero is a big list that includes '100 percent Kadhal', 'Ayangaran', 'Adangadhey', 'Jail', 'Kadhalai Thedi Nithya Nanda', 'Kadhilakka Yaarumillai', 'Aayiram Jenmangal' and 'Bachelor. He is also composing for prestifious films such as Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' and Dhanush-Vettrimaaran's 'Asuran'.

Now we have the big news that GVP is making his Hollywood debut in a new movie titled 'Trap City' which is about a drug peddler turned successful rapper who has to make an important choice between betraying a dangerous crime boss or save his career. The film has popular standup comedian cum actor Brandon T Jackson in the lead with Dennis LA White also playing an important role. Ricky Burchell is directing the project which is coproduced by Tel Ganesan who recently backed 'The Devil's Night' and 'Christmas Coupan' starring our own Maveeran Napolean in the lead.
