Recently Ayodhya Kumar Krishnamsetty directed the masterpiece 'Minugurulu', which beautifully and heartrendingly depicted the lives blind children in orphanages. Though the film has been receiving some prestigious awards, the director seems to have been worried that the film has been ignored by majority of the audiences.

The frustration developed in him is evident from the title and tagline of his upcoming film. His upcoming film is titled 'Pakka Commercial cinema' (An out and out commercial movie) and the subtitle is 'Meeru Korinatle' (As you've asked for). This clearly indicates the director's satire on the tastes and preferences of the audiences.

This is not the first time, a director has opted this way. Some directors, who felt the same as Ayodhya Kumar, have done movies contrary to their previous films in the past. After directing a national award winning film like '1940 Lo Oka Gramam', Narasimha Nandi directed the film, 'High School' and after a critically acclaimed award winning film like 'Ganga Puthrulu', Sunil Kumar Reddy directed, 'Oka Romantic Crime Katha'.
