With growing concern over the novel coronavirus that has infected and caused the deaths of thousands of people across the world, several shocking reports have been coming in over the rapidly growing numbers. Several celebrities have been infected with the virus as well, and it has recently been confirmed that Frozen 2 actress Rachel Matthews has tested positive for the virus.
"Hey guys, I tested positive for Covid-19 and have been in quarantine the last week. Unsure of what the next step is (been getting mixed info so will keep you posted) but obviously will remain in quarantine until told to do otherwise. I'm feeling better but I will be posting some info that I hope will be helpful to some. Please feel free to reach out and ask me any questions. I really would love to help in any way I can. Again, let's please be mindful of our decisions- now is the time to be smart and responsible. Let’s take care of one another (sic)," the actress announced on social media. Rachel Matthews made her debut in Happy Death Day in 2017 and she featured in its sequel, Happy Death Day 2U in 2019, as well.
The novel coronavirus, now officially called COVID-19, has claimed the lives of more than 7900 people and infected over 200000 people across the world. The virus was first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, in China. As the death toll and overall cases began rising rapidly across the world, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global health emergency and the outbreak has now been labelled a pandemic.
