Dance Choreographer Sandy's life is one of the success stories of people who have emerged from the street to small screen to silver screen.

Sandy has choreographed Superstar Rajinikanth's introduction song and climax song of director Pa.Ranjith's 'Kaala'. The talented youngster is on a double delight as he has recently entered wedlock with his lover Silviya.

Chennai based Sandy says the first platform to showcase is dancing abilities were the local Thiruvizhas during festivals. Then he was handpicked by veteran choreographer Kala master who made him choreograph dance for contestants in 'Maanada Mayilada' dance show. Robot Shankar took him to another popular dance show 'Jodi Number One' In that show the Jodi for which Sandy choreographed won the title and thus his name became very popular.Then he worked as a Assistant to veteran dance choreographer Brindha.

It was actor Silambarasan who helped Sandy get the membership card in the Cine Dance Masters Association and also made him a dance master through his film.

Sandy's long time acquaintance with director Ranjith made him get a chance to make Thalaivar dance to his steps.

Sandy and Slviya met the Superstar for their marriage, but he as well as Ranjith and other crew members of the film could not attend as on that day they were shooting for 'Kaala'.

Sandy's ex-partner is popular VJ Kajal who is currently contesting in the Big Boss Tamil reality show. He says he has forgotten his past with her and fallen in love with Silviya and now married her after obtaining the permission of the girl's mother.
