From Munnabhai to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

As Munnabhai, he won several hearts and made people to follow his Gandhiri style… Now Sanjay Dutt would create a striking impression with bilingual project Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Touted as a prestigious film, it will be directed by Soham Shah and Sanjay will feature here in the title role as the famous Maratha warrior. According to sources, the unit wanted someone who can play the character on the lines of Russell Crowe in ‘Robin Hood’ or ‘Gladiator’.
The director wants the film to appeal to people of all age groups. He stated that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj would have special effects like that of Hollywood’s ‘Prince Of Persia’.
The film will be made in Hindi and Marathi.
