From CBN to Kamal & Venkatesh, they all condole Irrfans demise

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan (53) on Wednesday passed away a day after he was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai. The versatile actor's death has saddened the film industry and political heavyweights alike.

TDP supremo and former AP CM Chandrababu Naidu said that he is saddened to hear about the passing of Irrfan Khan. "The Indian film industry has lost a much accomplished artist, who was also a warm, affectionate and humble person. He will be missed by all!" CBN tweeted out. Arvind Kejriwal, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, among others, have also condoled Irrfan's untimely death.

Legendary actor Kamal Haasan took to Twitter to express his grief. "Your work always left me in awe. You’re one of the finest actors I know, I wish you stayed longer. You deserved more time. Strength to the family at this time," the 'Indian-2' actor said.

'F2' and 'Venky Mama' actor Venkatesh observed that the world of cinema has come to see a tragic loss. "I did not have the privilege of working with him, but having seen his performances, I can only say that he was an actor par excellence. Rest in peace sir. We shall cherish your memories through your vast body of work," he wrote.

Trisha, who had the opportunity to work with Irrfan Khan in Mahesh Babu's 'Sainikudu', said, "Woke up to more tragedy and shock today. RIP #IrrfanKhan. I feel happy to have shared screen space with you. Your body of work, talent and dignity never failed to amaze me. Love and strength to your family."

Bollywood veteran and senior politician Shatrughan Sinha said, "Heartfelt condolences on the untimely demise of a self made, brilliant, versatile actor par excellence our own #IrrfanKhan. He was certainly one of the best in our film industry. A thorough gentleman & fine human being. A man of few words, but a volcano of talent."

CNN has reported that Irrfan was known internationally for his roles in 'Life Of Pi' and 'Slumdog Millionaire'.
