‘Friends’ actor Mike Hagerty passes away at 67

American actor Mike Hagerty, who was best known for playing the role of Mr. Treeger in the famous 90s sitcom ‘Friends,’ died in Los Angeles at the age of 67. The news was revealed by Hagerty’s Somebody Somewhere co-star Bridget Everett.
Bridget took to Instagram to share pictures of Mike Hagerty, alongside the announcement. “With great sadness, the family of Michael G. Hagerty announced his death yesterday in Los Angeles. A beloved character actor, his love of his hometown of Chicago and his family were the cornerstones of his life. Mike, a devoted husband, is survived by his wife Mary Kathryn, his sister Mary Ann Hagerty, her wife Kathleen O’Rourke, and their daughter Meg. He will be sorely missed,” her caption read. The cause of the actor’s death is currently unknown.
Mike Hagerty played the role of Mr. Treeger, the building superintendent at Monica, Rachel, Chandler and Joey’s apartment in Friends. The actor also earned fame through his role in the HBO series Somebody Somewhere, where he played the role of Bridget Everett’s father.
