American actor Matthew Perry, who is popular for his role as Chandler Bing in the famous TV sitcom Friends, has announced that he has ended his relationship with 29-year-old girlfriend Molly Hurwitz.

The 51-year-old actor started dating Molly Hurwitz in 2018 and the couple subsequently got engaged in November 2020. Calling off his engagement with the literary manager, Matthew Perry informed PEOPLE, "Sometimes things just don't work out and this is one of them. I wish Molly the best." Following his engagement, the Friends actor had mentioned in a statement, "I decided to get engaged. Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time." Speculations of Matthew Perry's relationship with the 29-year-old when their loved-up pictures outside a restaurant in Los Angeles went viral on social media back in 2018.

The actor's announcement comes days after the reunion special episode of Friends aired across the globe. The world famous TV series also starred Jennifer Aniston as Rachel Green, Courteney Cox as Monica Geller, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay, David Schwimmer as Ross Geller, and Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribiani.
