Ever since Hrithik Roshan gave a phenomenal performance as rough and tough rogue spy in 'War', his fans have been waiting desperately for his next outing. There were reports about him being casted in the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster, 'Vikram Vedha'. Hrithik was supposed to play the antagonist agaisnt Saif Ali Khan in film. Although, there were reports about Hrithik walking out of the film but latest buzz suggests that the project is still good to go.

If things go as planned, 'Vikram Vedha' remake might hit the screen in late September, 2022. A source close to the development shared, "The makers have decided to release Vikram Vedha remake on September 30, 2022. The film goes on floors soon and the team of the film is confident that it'll be ready by then. Also, it’s a great date since Gandhi Jayanti (October 2) and Dussehra (October 5) both fall in the release week. This would ensure healthy footfalls translating into superb box office numbers."

The film will feature Saif and Hrithik's character in a thrilling game of cat and mouse chase. Apart from this, Hrithik is also going to star in Siddharth Anand's 'Fighter' where he might play a combat pilot.
