Soon after the release of 'Saaho' this Friday, it became clear that the plot bears some uncanny resemblances to that of 'Largo Winch', the French movie that was unofficially remade as 'Agnyathavaasi' more than a year ago. Jerome Salle, the director of 'Largo Winch', learned about this soon with so many critics of 'Saaho' tagging him on Twitter.
Flattered by all this, the French director remarked that he thinks he has a promising career in India. His comment has led to much trolling, with many Telugus telling the director that his French film has caused two duds in Tollywood. "Please stay away from the Indian film industry," a fellow urged.
'Saaho', to be sure, also apes the South Korean movie 'New World' in many ways.
I think I have a promising career in India. https://t.co/XAiERdgUCF
