Though he was my associate for long, i zeroed in on Shankar as my next hero after much search. I was looking out for the right actor to do the role of my kuttiyappan for the new movie 'Leela'. And certain things in Shankar suggested that this was the actor i was looking for ' says Renjith who will be adapting the story by R unni for his new movie. Leela will be produced by his Capitol productions, which had recently offered acclaimed hits like 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint' and 'Palerimanickyam'. Shankar Ramakrishnan, who had been the scriptwriter of 'Urumi', will start acting in this movie from the 25th of this month.Prithviraj will be appearing in a cameo in this flick while , Nedumudi venu and Mamtha will be in other important roles.

Capitol's next movie will be titled as 'Indian rupee' which will feature Prithviraj in the lead. Renjith had earlier been with Prithvriaj for films like 'Nandhanam', Prithvi's debut movie and the more recent ' Thirakkatha' which were all popular hits. The movie which will feature the music by Ghazal singer Shahbaaz Aman will tell the tale about the modern greedy youth who dreams to become millionaires in a single day.
