Madhan Arivalagan (28) was a software employee working in Bengaluru in the past. He took to crime out of greed or maybe because he has psychopathic tendencies. He burgled several homes in Guindy and Velachery suburbs in Chennai for months on end.

And as he was on a rampage, Arivalagan would rape lonesome women, film his act with his mobile and threaten them by showing the footage, only to rape them repeatedly. He is suspected to have raped 50 women.

The Chennai police recently nabbed him when they found his bike parked by the side of a road. The serial rapist has been on police radar for many months. He was arrested in a burglary case last year. But when the culprit made an appeal, he was released after being jailed for 78 days.

The repeat offender has burgled so much gold over the years.
