Shah Faesal, the former IAS officer and a Kashmiri politician, has called for avenging the abrogation of Article 370 and bifurcation of Jammu & Kashmir by the Parliament.

"There is no Eid. Kashmiris across the world are mourning the illegal annexation of their land. There shall be no Eid till everything that has been stolen and snatched since 1947 is returned back. No Eid till the last bit of insult is avenged and undone," Faesal today said.

The former bureaucrat, who is often accused of promoting soft-separatism, has been heavily slammed. Major Surendra Poonia said, "Mr Faesal, by encouraging bloodbath and violence you have shown your separatist colours. Whose command you are taking over - Hurriyat or HM? Eid will be celebrated in Kashmir with full spirit. You can take a dip in Dal Lake."
