M.K.Alagiri, former DMK heavyweight and the elder son of the party leader M.Karunanidhi visited Superstar Rajinikanth's residence this morning. Sources say that the purpose of Alagiri's visit is to inquire about the health of the Superstar who has just returned from USA after getting treatment for physical illness.

Rajinikanth has always restrained from politics but time and again his entry into politics are fans expectations over the same has been the centre stage of political debates in Tamil Nadu. The Superstar has always maintained a cordial relationship with all politicians cutting across party lines.

Alagiri is one of the mainstream politicians in Tamil Nadu who maintains a good friendship with Rajinikanth. When he visited Chennai during the run up for the 2014 General Elections he visited the veteran actor's Poes Garden residence at Chennai.
