"I went onto have a very serious injury last year which forced me to be on a complete rest. With lockdown being already imposed, the peak of my frustration towards my physical appearance increased each day .I hated to see myself in the mirror. I was even intimidated seeing my old photos.I had completely lost faith in myself.
That was the time I decided to take a stern step towards my goal of achieving my old shape and realised that the key aspect is to believe in yourself. I called my coach @haridiyag and his words helped me regain my confidence. I made a promise to myself that I m going to work hard to bring back my old physique.
Things were returning back to normal but then I had a very bad tennis elbow injury resulting in difficulty in even lifting my phone. I read online about @healthandheal_ and got in touch with them who dedicatedly helped me fix it. I avoided binge eating (without any cheat meals). I gave up on my unhealthy eating habits followed a very strict diet, and the result is right in front of you.
Here are my biggest takeaways:
1.Set a goal and divide that goal in sub-goals. Achieving those milestones will motivate you to continue working harder.
2.In most cases, we start working out because we aren’t comfortable with our current physical appearance. But with time, I promise, you will fall in love with a healthier life style.
3.We all have cravings. Restricting yourself from certain food may not last longer. Giving a break from the diet you set for yourself will help you in remaining sane for rest of the days.
4.Start a workout routine that suits your body type and one that you enjoy doing.
It’s very important to realize that people come in all shapes and sizes. But adapting to a healthier lifestyle will help us in leading a better life.
Indeed this was my biggest transformation to date."
