It was a month ago, popular Malayalam Television actor and former Bigg Boss contestant Pradeep Chandran welcomed his first baby with his wife Anupama. Announcing that he was blessed with a baby boy, Pradeep wrote, "Welcome to the world Baby Boy".

A day ago, the actor took to his Instagram handle to share a few pictures from the baby's naming ceremony. He also surprised all by announcing the unique name of his son. The actor named his son after his popular onscreen character Abhiraam from the serial 'Karuthamuthu'.

"It was my son's naming ceremony. I called the name thrice in his ears, 'Abhiraam', 'Abhiraam', 'Abhiraam'. Yes, the name which is unforgettable in my acting career. The character Abhiraam, from Karuthamuthu, was one of the stepping stones of my life, thus I wanted it to be a part of my life too. My son will be Abhiraam A P (the translation of Pradeep's Malayalam post)," Pradeep revealed.

Pradeep Chandran tied the knot with Anupama Ramachandran amid the coronavirus lockdown. Due to this, not many celebs could attend the wedding. Pradeep Chandran even took to social media to share a live video of the entire event.
