Four persons with Indian background have been taken under custody in Texas on human trafficking allegations. Princeton Police arrested Chandan Dasireddy, Santhosh Katkoori, Dwaraka Gunda, and Anil Male—ages ranging from 24 to 38. Fox 4 News claims that the arrests result from a forced labor program run in Collin County of Princeton.

After police got a tip from a pest control agency regarding probable human trafficking at a residence on Ginsburg Lane, the search started in March. Inspection revealed that the pest control officer discovered about fifteen women sleeping on the floor among many bags in one room. The house allegedly lacked furnishings but had blankets and electronics, which begged questions about possible trafficking operations.

Authorities found that the ladies were apparently compelled to work for several shell businesses linked to Katkoori and Gunda. According to NBC5, more research turned up other people—men and women alike—who worked as programmers for these shell corporations and were victims of forced labor.

The police looked at additional sites in Princeton, Melissa, and McKinney as well. They seized devices like laptops and phones during these inspections, bolstering the allegations of human trafficking.
