Mukesh Ambani, with a net worth of USD 51.40 billion, is India's richest person for the 12th year in a row, says Forbes India. Gautam Adani is at No. 2 with a net worth of USD 15.70 billion, which is a distant second.
Hinduja Brothers are at No. 3, trailing Adani by just less than 0.1 billion. Pallonji Mistry of Shapoorji Pallonji Group, who is 90-years-old, is at No. 4. His net worth is USD 15 billion.
Uday Kotak's USD 14.80 billion puts him at No. 5, while Shiv Nadar of HCL Technologies is at No. 6 and his net worth is USD 14.40 billion. Avenue Supermarts' Radhakishan Damani is at No. 7 with a net worth of USD 14.30 billion. The Godrej Family (12 billion), Lakshmi Mittal (10.50 billion), and Kumar Mangalam Birla (9.6 billion) are at No. 8, 9 and 10, respectively.
Azim Premji is at No. 17, NR Narayana Murthy is at No. 51, Nandan Nilekani is at No. 78, Acharya Balkrishna (Baba Ramdev's disciple) is at No. 97.
