If the next 40-50 days is going to see a slew of releases, can the audio market be any dull.
Market reports say that despite FM radios and internet sites coming up with audio streams, the cassette and the CD market is very buoyant.
Many of the recent releases have done wonderfully well for themselves. The case of sri Ramadasu is a good example. The songs of the film are by an large in the classical-devotional mould, But the audience have just lapped it up. The audio sales have been very good, says market sources.
Many other audios have also done well in the recent past.
This month itself there is a clutch of audios waiting to hit the market. The audio of Ravi BabuÂs Party would be released on 26th January. Chakri is the music director. Then Bangaram's music is also set to hit the markets soon.
Asadhyudu's music will come to the fans tomorrow.
The market has never had it so good, confirms an audio company man. He adds, you are just seeing the start of a long season. So stay tuned for earful.
