Into the list of small films that will remain no-starters is 'For Sale' the new movie directed by Satheesh Ananthapuri. Trying to tell how a woman turns a commodity in the present society, the movie meanders through predictable lanes before ending up in a boring climax.

The movie has Diana (Kaathal Sandhya) and Lisa (Natasha) as two step sisters who live with their parents,  Joseph (Saikumar) and Achamma (Aishwarya) who are heavily addicted  to liquor. Liza is the new heartthrob in the advertising industry which is headed by Achayan (Vijayaraghavan) who runs the ad firm Sayanora.  Guruji alias Prathapan (Mukesh ) is the most popular of the admakers in the circuit who provides good packages to the studio.

One day  Diana has to go to the studio accompanying Liza. But Guruji who was looking for an apt model to do his handloom ad , finalise her as his model. This results in emotional problems in the family with Diana being thrown out of her house.  Diana's growth and Lisa's decline in their profession wreaks havoc in their relationship. What follows form the rest of the movie 'For Sale', which but seems to be the one made neither with an intention to sell it..

In an attempt to tell how the role models set by parents affect their children, the entire movie is conceived as a sob story.'The pathetic direction  by Sathish Ananthapuri is amplified by his poor writing. The movie is definitely a  handbook to check how not a movie must be made. The credit in the producer title ,Anto Kadavelil  is sure to face the heat as the movie is sure to exit the release centres in a hurry. Jithu Damodar's songs are average, but used sparingly while  Anil Gopinath's visuals are better than the rest in the proceedings.

All in all, this 'For Sale' will definitely get into the list of the poor films ever made in Mollywood.
