Lady Superstar Nayanthara who celebrates her birthday today, was last seen on screen playing a sports physio in Vijay starrer Bigil, the blockbuster movie directed by Atlee, and had earlier this year starred in the blockbuster with Viswasam where she was paired with Ajith.

Being the first choice of all top heroes, Nayanthara is acting in Darbar with Superstar Rajnikanth and the movie releases on Pongal 2020 and on the other hand she is also focusing on female centric movies, and is acting in Netrikann directed by Aval director Milind Rau.

Recently it was announced that Nayanthara will be playing the titular role in RJ Balaji's debut as a director, Mookuthi Amman, and it has been revealed that for this movie, which is a complete devotional entertainer, Nayanthara has turned vegetarian till the shooting is completed just like how she did during the shoot of Telugu movie Rama Rajyam where she played Goddess Sita. The entire Mookuthi Amman team will be following vegan food practice till the shoot, revealed director RJ Balaji.
