Thalapathy Vijay is currently acting in Bigil, his 63rd movie, which is directed by Atlee who had earlier directed Theri and Mersal with him, and the movie produced by AGS Entertainment has music by AR Rahman and is getting ready for a Diwali release.

Following the first look poster updates, the latest surprise from the team is that Bigil will have former Indian Football team captain IM Vijayan in an important role and he will be seen alongside the father Vijay character. Earlier, Vijayan had acted in several movies like Thimiru and Komban.

Bigil recently revealed a surprise for fans with the announcement that Vijay has sang a song for the first time in AR Rahman's music with the song named Verithanam. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Kathir, Jackie Shroff, Indhuja, Reba Monica John, Yogi Babu, Vivek and Daniel Balaji.
