Followers differ with Puri Jagannadh

Puri Jagannadh has sounded as if he is defending Salman Khan after his Bollywood buddy was sentenced by a Jodhpur court.  ”In the last 20 years, thousands of blackbucks have been killed in India.  Those are not a matter.  Every day we kill cows, goats and pigs in crores, but those lives also do not matter!!!” the star director tweeted out after the verdict.

Many of his followers have since differed with him.  If some said that voices like Puri speak out only when celebs are jailed, others questioned him on his silence over the Special status issue.  ”Any upcoming remake movie signed with Salman?” wondered another follower.

Puri does express provocative opinions at times.  While that’s his style, we also await ‘Mehbooba’, starring Akash Puri as the hero.  Its trailer will be unveiled on April 9 (at 5 PM).  The film will be out in the cinemas on May 11.
