Two days back, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the people of the country regarding the Coronavirus outbreak and had told people to observe Janta curfew on March 22 between 7am and 9 pm by locking themselves in their houses, thereby avoiding the spread of coronavirus.

Yesterday, actor and politician Kamal Haasan had supported this initiative and requested fellow actors and fans to participate in the curfew, and today Superstar Rajnikanth has posted a video, requesting people of the country to participate in Janta curfew.

He has said that India is preparing to avoid stage 3 of Coronavirus with the curfew, and Italy had tried the same but did not get the support of its citizens and is now facing deaths of thousands. To avoid a similar crisis as Italy faces, Rajnikanth has urged Indians to strictly stay indoors and practice social distancing and has also requested people to thank doctors and medical workers.
