The magnificent flower show at Lal Bagh for this August 15, Indian Independence day is very special and absorbing to the people.

The high point of this year flower show is the emergence of Kannada literary personalities in the flowers of various colors.

As the horticulture department is celebrating 50 years of Lalbagh flower show it is dedicated to the first Gnanapeetha award winner Rashtra Kavi Kuvempu.
