Marking the birthday of Superstar Rajinikanth, the Teaser for 'Petta' has been released.  High on style quotient: this is the first impression that you get after watching the legendary actor.  The Chitti of '2.0' is surely out to become utterly flamboyant here.

We are in for another look in the Teaser.  That of a Tamilian Rajini, clad in 'veshti', sporting a handlebar mustache.

It would have been great had the Teaser come with an unheard single.  'Mass Marana' was released days ago.  Music is by Anirudh Ravichander.

Starring Vijay Sethupathi as antagonist Jithu, the film has Trisha Krishnan and Simran as the heroines.  Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Sasi Kumar, Bobby Simha and others are part of the cast.

Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, it has cinematography by S Thirunavukkarasu.  Editing is by Vivek Harshan.  Production Designing is by Suresh Selvarajan.  Action Direction is by Peter Hein.

The film is slated to be released for Sankranthi 2019.
