YCP leader and Minister Perni Nani on Wednesday said that the film industry is working with the government to resolve the outstanding issues facing Tollywood. "There is consensus on the setting up of an online ticketing portal. Software development is going on already. We are engaging with stakeholders and technical partners already," he said.
The Minister opined that the media is giving full coverage of the film industry issues. "Today, six producers (Dil Raju, Naveen Yerneni, Suniel Narang and others) came to meet me. The entire media is here to cover it," Nani added, flanked by Dil Raju.
Nani said that he didn't abuse Pawan Kalyan at all. "What did I call that 'sannasi'? Had I used a bad word, the TV channels would have used a beep. If you didn't use a beep, it means I didn't use an expletive in the first place," he asked. "I am proud to say that I am Jagan's 'paleru'. Whose 'paleru' is he? He can't say that. Because he is not honest," Nani thundered.
Nani added that Dil Raju and others came to call on him to convey that they don't share the views of Pawan Kalyan about the government. "Chiranjeevi garu has expressed displeasure already on a call with me. He told me he is going to meet me soon after he completes the shoot of his film. I have assured the producers that we don't see the views of one individual as that of the industry," the Minister said.
On his part, Dil Raju said that the film industry doesn't have anything to do with politics.
