Flab gets flak

Wonder where Aarti Agarwal is?
Dunno. She is said to be somewhere in the US, trying to shed her flab after she was roundly criticized for her extra weight (remember the uncharitable monicker 'Gas Cylinder' in Neunnanu).
After Aarti it is now the turn of Rakshita to face the fire. She has been dropped from Sumanth's film for being overweight. In these looks-conscious times, no hero is ready to carry the extra baggage that comes in the form of an overweight heroine. Kiran Rathod, another young heroine, is being given the wide berth because of the extra girth.
But it is not just the heroines, heroes too are being asked to shape up fast.
NTR Jr, no stranger to extra flesh, is being asked to lessen his weight.
Ditto for Manoj (son of Mohan Babu's son) after Donga Dongadi.
Even older stars like Balakrishna and Venkatesh are finding the going difficult because of paunch problems.
The general refrain in Tollywood these days is: meaty roles, but anything but meaty in the figure.
