"There is no rift between the Telugu film industry and the AP government. Chiranjeevi garu, Nagarjuna garu and several producers had requested the Chief Minister to implement online ticketing. And Jaganmohan Reddy garu, being a friendly CM, has taken steps towards the same. Barring one or two individuals who are playing politics, nobody is unhappy," Roja said.
"Mostly, it is the poor people and middle-class people who watch movies in theatres. Dasara Narayana Rao garu had said long back that, small producers and poor audiences have to be helped by making the right policies. If the ticket prices are pre-determined and fixed, the poor will be able to afford them. Big producers who make big movies want higher ticket prices. But what about the survival of small films?" Roja asked.
