Dogs are the most common pet animals. They are known for their friendly and loving nature. But dogs can be dangerous at times, especially stray dogs. Nowadays, we can easily notice that cases of babies and kids getting mauled by stray dogs are increasing at an alarming rate.

On Sunday, a five-year-old child was mauled to death by a bunch of stray dogs. The tragic incident took place in Telangana's Nizamabad and a CCTV video of the same is doing rounds on the internet. The clip is strictly not for the weak hearted. The victim is a boy named Pradeep, whose father worked as a security guard in a building.

According to the police, the child was carrying some food item which led to the attack. The boy was seen surrounded and attacked by the dogs in the video. This incident has triggered many people and reopened a debate over stray dogs. The netizens urge the officials to take strict action against the stray dogs' issue in the country.

For the uninitiated, this is not the case of stray dog attacks in India. On Saturday, a 7-year-old boy died due to an attack by stray dogs in Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur. A 4-year-old boy died after being attacked by a pack of stray dogs in Gujarat's Surat just two weeks before. In January, over 80 people were hospitalized in Bihar's Arrah after a stray dog went on a biting spree.
