'Nene Raju-Nene Mantri', set to hit the screens this Friday, is Rana Daggubati's much-awaited entertainer. Here we give you FIVE must-know things about the movie.

1. Hubby-wife relationship as the anchor: Rana and Kajal Aggarwal play a married couple and it's their relationship that is the film's anchor. "Jogendra rechristens himself as Radha Jogendra after he marries her. While being a revenge drama, the film narrates the evolution in the husband-wife relationship," Rana says.

2. Not a political thriller:

Contrary to what many have come to assume, 'NRNM' is not a political thriller. "Politics is just the backdrop. It's like a canvas, while the painting is something else," director Teja says. Only 10 per cent of the movie is political.

3. Pucca commercial:

Don't assume that it's some sort of an art movie just because Jogendra is recklessly facing the noose in the Teaser. "The movie is a full-on commercial entertainer. But the way the characterizations have been detailed, it has similarities with art movies," the director says.

4. Radha as important as Jogendra:

It's not a hero-oriented movie. Kajal's character is as important as that of her husband's. "Things happen because of Kajal`s character and how I take things in control in the second half is the nub of the story," Rana says.

5. Jogendra is grey:

Jogendra is neither positive nor negative. He is both of them and all shades in between. What all he does in the five years over which the story pans out defies narrow categorizations.
