Five TN school girls attempt suicide

Five girls of Grade 7 from the Arasampatti Government School of Villupuram allegedly attempted suicide on Thursday by consuming rat poison after they found their names written on their school wall with a love message alongside.
They decided to end their lives after they found it extremely hard to stand the humiliation of finding their names on the school wall, according to the police. They were immediately rushed to the Kallakuruchi General Hospital.
The social welfare department conducted an inquiry with the headmaster of the school, apparently.
