The KCR government is going to enable the building of five Information Technology parks in eastern Hyderabad. IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday said that they would be coming up in Uppal, Mallapur and Nacharam.
These parks will be constructed over an area of 25 lakh sq ft. The Telangana government estimates that they will employ at least 30,000 people directly.
A growth in dispersion (GRID) policy will be unveiled to attract investment in the eastern part of the city.
In another news, the Congress party has criticized the government for naming parks and colonies after Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, for example, KCR Urban Eco Park in Mahabubnagar.
