Five top Kannada films are lined up for the Ganesha and Gowri festival but chances of obtaining theatres are remote. For the Dasara festival - the festival celebrated for nine days and the last day being Vijayadashami is likely to find the films of Puneeth Rajakumar, Sudeep, Vijay, Golden star Ganesh, Darshan and Diganth.

Power star Puneeth Rajakumar and Yogaraj Bhat combination 'Paramathma' for the first time with actors Deepa Sannidhi, Aindrita Ray and Ramya Barne, Sudeep, Priyamani, Bhavana starring 'Raja Vishnuvardhana' in the production of veteran Dwarakish, Darshan's 'Sarathy' with Deepa Sannidhi directed by his brother Dinakar, Vijay and Pranithi starring 'Jarasandha' in Shashank direction, Golden star Ganesh and Shradda Arya starring 'Madhuve Mane', Diganth with two new heroines Samyuktha and Sidhu in Pawan Kumar direction 'Lifu Ishtene' are lined up for release in the next one month duration.

In addition to it number of films like Swayamkrishi, Shyloo, Kalla Malla Sulla, Shikari, AK 56, Maryadhe Ramanna, Manasalogy, 90, Puthra, Obbavva, Allidhe Namma Mane Illi Bandhe Summane, Lokave Helidha Mathidhu, Achu Mechchu, Bodyguard, Shakthi, Kotllallppo Kai, Vishnu etc are lined up for release.
