Five Biggies in Queue

Five big films of super stars are in the queue for release in the month of May and June. The summer heat followed by monsoon will not be a hitch for the producers to release the films.

As of now on May 1, ‘Maanikya’ of Kichcha Sudeep as actor and director with V Ravichandran a remake of ‘Mirchi’ made at a cost of Rs.20 crores is hitting in over 250 theatres. Thursday release also represents a tribute to workers as May 1 is Workers Day. MN Kumar, Kichcha Creations and Kolla Praveen are producers of this film. Varalakshmi and Ranya are female counterparts with 30 other well known faces spread to two families that form the major constituent in the film.

‘Gajakesari’ from Jayanna Films – the biggest of the banner in terms of investment starring Yash and Amoolya in the direction of cinematographer S Krishna with Satya Hegde cinematography is already with posters on the streets. The audio of this film is making it big.

Telugu film ‘Dookudu’ remake in Kannada that is ‘Ashwathama’ according to sources starring Power star Puneeth Rajakumar and Trisha top south actress in lead is at final stages of post production in K Madesh direction.

‘Ambarisha’ that has recently completed Dr Ambarish portion of Kempegowda role in the film is another biggest film for the presence of box office badsha No.1 today – challenging star Darshan in the lead role. Rachita Ram is female lead with Priyamani also doing a very important role in the direction of Mahesh Sukhadhare.

Waiting to see the results is ‘Aryan’. While Ramya is waiting patiently for May 16 to turn up to know the results of her Lok Sabha contest from Mandya, she is also anxious to know the results of her film with super star Shivarajakumar in ‘Aryan’. As sitting MP Ramya finished the portions for this film.
