Acting as a Police officer is every actor`s dream. Almost all leading actors in Tamil Cinema have acted at least in one film as a police officer. Now it seems it's time for actor Jiiva to don the khaki attire.

After the much needed success in Endrendrm Punnagai` the film that released in the fag end of 2013, the young actor is acting in Yaan` that marks the directorial debut of acclaimed cinematographer Ravi.K.Chandran. The film stars Thulasi of Kadal` fame as the lead heroine. The film has Nasser and Prakash Raj in the supporting cast. Music has been scored by Harris Jayaraj whose songs released a few months back and they are topping the charts. Manush Nandan has handled the cinematography. Elred Kumar of RS Infotainment has produced the film on a grand scale.

The trailer of Yaan` released yesterday. In one of the shots in the trailer Jiiva was noticed wearing a Police attire. This has led to speculation that the actor acts as a Police officer in this film. If the guess is true, it will be the first time the young actor will be acting as a Policeman in his decade long acting career.
