Virat Kohli took the internet by storm when he announced the birth of his daughter with Anushka Sharma on January 11. The cricketer's brother Vikas Kohli reportedly shared the first glimpse of the newborn earlier today and the picture has been going viral on social media.

As soon as Vikas Kohli posted the picture of the baby's tiny feet wrapped in a blanket, he was showered with wishes on becoming an uncle. Anushka Sharma gave birth to her baby girl at Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital on January 11. Releasing an official statement on Instagram, Virat Kohli wrote, "We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat." Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma revealed that the baby's nursery is gender-neutral and that it will have an animal theme.

"I don't believe that boys have to wear blue and girls pink. The nursery has all colours. Both Virat and I love animals and we want our baby to have that bond too. They are a big part of our lives and we really believe they can teach kindness and compassion to children," Anushka stated. The Bollywood actor and Virat Kohli tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy in December 2017 after dating for several years. The couple announced the arrival of their baby late last year.
