Ever heard of a film that was fully shot outdoor? Probably you haven't. Because ‘Pakka’ is the first Indian movie to have been shot completely in exterior locales. Director S.S.Surya has wielded the megaphone for this project which features Vikram Prabhu, Nikki Galrani and Bindhu Madhavi in the lead roles. 

It is also worth mentioning here that the director had organised a real carnival of sorts near Kallakurichi and took music composer Sathya to watch it for an entire night to compose a song. The director also has expressed confidence that the ‘Karagaattam’ song will be much talked about. 

 The film which is touted to be a full length comedy entertainer also has an ensemble cast that includes Sathish, Soori, Anandaraj, Ravi Maria, Singam Puli and Nizhalgal Ravi as well. Saravanan has cranked the camera for this film. ‘Pakka’ is being bankrolled by T.Sivakumar under the banner of Benn Consortium Studios.
