Model and actor Tharshan Thaygarajah from Sri Lanka, was one of the 17 contestants of the third season of Bigg Boss Tamil game show hosted by Kamal Haasan, and after being in the game for 3 months, he was eliminated from the show on the 98th day.

Tharshan was always projected to be the title winner, and had been consistent in the games as well as in the house, and except for Vanitha, there had been no other contestant who had an issue with him. His elimination came as a shock, but Tharshan left the show with a smiling face, encouraged by Kamal Haasan and the support of the audience present in the show.

After his elimination, Tharshan is back on social media, and has left a lovely message for everyone who supported him. He posted "Receiving love from the people whom we know is a good feeling but receiving love from the people whom we never met is the best feeling ever. Today is the best day of my entire life and I have realised and felt the love, support and warmth from people who never knew me. This is the best gift I've received, for which I'm so grateful to Bigg Boss 3. I have no words to express my gratitude towards each and everyone of you have considered me as your family and supported me throughout these 98 days. I really feel the love in my heart. I'll meet you guys soon! Please bear with me!".
